Clinching Products

Self Clinching Nuts

Clinch nuts are self-clinching, internally threaded nuts that are pressed into the base material. Often times, these high strength fasteners are used in material that is too thin to tap threads The installation of the clinch nut usually results in a flush mounting into the base material, which is desired by many manufacturers. Another reason why clinch nuts provide excellent value is because they can be installed at high volumes using automation lines or manually clinched with an arbor press or riveters. Can also easily perform tapping at locations that are difficult to weld

Ideal For Applications That Need:

  • Access to both sides of the base material
  • High thread strength and superior pull-out force requirements
  • Metal base materials: steel, stainless steel
  • Information:-
Material: Mild Steel, High Tensile 8.8. Grade & Stainless Steel.
Size: There is large variety of Sizes & Diameters or as per customer’s required specification.
    Threads: Inch & Metric.

    Self Clinching Studs

Self-clinching studs are a type of fastener that is commonly used in the sheet metal industry. Self-clinching studs feature serration beneath their heads. These studs are designed to be inserted into a pre-punched hole in a metal sheet, and once installed, they become a permanent fixture in the sheet. The basic element of the self-clinching studs is they provide a strong reusable thread in thin panels. With easy installation, these self-clinching fasteners can be clinched into thin metal panels with a very low cost of installation.

    Advantages:

  • High resistance to torque loads
  • No damage to coated surfaces – ideal for sheet metal panels
  • Always perpendicular to the sheet
  • Head is flush with the metal sheet after insertion
  • Information:-
    Material: Mild Steel, Stainless Steel
Size: There is large variety of Sizes & Diameters or as per customer’s required specification.
    Threads: Metric

    Self Clinching Standoff

Self Clinching Standoff provides the best solution where mounting, spacing or stacking of panels, boards or components are required.

Utilising a hexagon head and a clinch feature, this fastener has excellent torque-out, pull-through and push-out characteristics whilst providing a flush finish on the underside of the panel, requiring minimal surface finishing after installation.

Blind Standoffs and Thru-Hole Standoffs are the most common varieties of these metal fasteners. They provide protection for fragile circuitry and electrical connections in printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electrical assemblies. Self clinching standoffs eliminate the need for loose hardware on aftermarket components.

    installation Of Standoff:

  • Punch or drill properly to size the mounting hole in the sheet. Do not perform any secondary operation such as deburring
  • Insert standoff through mounting hole of sheet and into anvil
  • With punch and anvil surfaces parallel, apply only enough Squeezing force to embed the standoff head flush in the sheet.
  • Information:-
    Material: Mild Steel, Stainless Steel
Size: There is large variety of Sizes & Diameters or as per customer’s required specification.
    Threads: Metric.

    Revet Nuts

A rivet nut, also known as a blind threaded insert, is a one piece internally threaded fastener with an engineered body that compresses when installed, thus securing the fastener in place. They are commonly installed in applications with blind fastening requirements, however, they have become more frequently utilized in high production volume environments due to simple installation and economical costs. Rivet nuts can be installed on pre painted components without distorting the base material and are a suitable replacement for weld nuts, eliminating weld spatter and toxic fumes

    Information:-
    Material: Mild Steel, Stainless Steel.
Size: There is large variety of Sizes & Diameters or as per customer’s required specification.
    Threads: Metric.
